Your new contract will commence 1 February 2022.
Members who opt-in to a new plan prior to 17 January 2022 will receive an extended 50% discount until 31 March 2022. Members who fail to respond, choose not to opt-in to a new plan or opt in after 17 January 2022 will only receive the 50% discount until 31 January 2022.
If you choose to do nothing with your contract, your contract will expire on your minimum term end date or 31 March 2022.
No, your current access card will remain active.
Members within their minimum term can opt-in to a new plan with no penalty and enjoy the benefits of no lock in contract. Members who choose not to opt-in to a new plan must complete their minimum term prior to cancelling or be subject to the $100 cancellation fee within minimum term.
No. The focus for our new plans is flexibility and freedom with no lock in contracts and simple monthly payments.
Concession Plans are available to any persons holding a current government-issued Seniors Card, Disability Support Pension Concession Card or Full-time Student Card.
Teen Plans are available to members aged 12-17 years old.
65 Plus Plans are available to members aged 65 years and older.
Our prices have been streamlined and are now structured to provide all-inclusive access and added value such as 24/7 access to New Lambton Gym as standard.
New Lambton gym has undergone a full and complete upgrade to all areas including Cardio, Plate and Pin equipment.
Mayfield Gym has been renovated throughout with 3 x Cardio Zones, 2 x Split functional training areas, new and improved Technogym Pin Loaded area and open plan Plate loaded zone with a complete Booty line focussing on all areas from the hip down.
As of 1 December 2021, all classes can be booked via the Balance Collective app, online via the Member Portal or over the phone.
The Balance App will relaunch on 1 December 2021 to all members.
Our new Balance Plans can be cancelled at any time with just 30 days notice.
Yes, you can pause your plan at any time with no fees or penalties. A Member may choose to pause their Plan at any time by giving notice in writing at [email protected]. The pause will commence on the later of the nominated pause start date and receipt of the notice. The pause will fall away on the nominated pause end date. The Member will not be charged plan fees for the nominated pause period, being from the pause start date to the pause end date (inclusive). The pause period is for a minimum of 2 weeks and a maximum of 12 months, and the Plan will automatically re-start after 12 months of pause.
You can pause your plan at any time for a minimum period of 2 weeks and a maximum period of 12 months. After 12 months, your plan will automatically resume.
You can pause your plan as many times as you like.
Yes, there will be no change to the direct debit payment schedule.
Yes, your direct debit amount will change according to the new plan + any extras selected.

Stay Active Members are invited to opt-in to a new plan of their choosing/ eligibility (Adult, Concession, 65 Plus) and continue to access Stay Active Classes on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday as well as gym facilities at all 3 of our Balance Gyms.
No, we no longer offer casual visits given our new super flexible no lock in contracts.
The remaining balance on your plan will be placed onto your new plan as a credit. This credit will be used prior to any Direct Debit being taken from your preferred payment method.
Members can update their financial details/ preferences at any time via the Balance Collective online Member Portal or by visiting our friendly staff at the Reception desk at any of our gyms.
Your Balance Plan will change in line with all other Balance plans. You will have the opportunity to transition to a new Balance Plan and enjoy the increased benefits and bonus 50% discount extension if you opt in prior to 24 January 2022.
Our new Balance plans are focussed on flexibility and added value. It is structured to provide all-inclusive access and added value as standard.
A Debit/ Credit card or bank account details for direct debit are a mandatory requirement to complete the set-up of your account. You can pay your monthly payment at Reception prior to the monthly direct debit run and your account will not be debited.
Under our Gym rules, members must be 18 years or over to be able to use gym facilities unsupervised.
